Like many Musicians and Songwriters, Chad Alan's road to the stage has been a long one. Formerly from Southeastern Indiana, Alan performed with the Group "The Hollow" in the 90's and early 2000's. He was fortunate to share the stage with such groups as : Lonestar, Alan Jackson, Montgomery Gentry and Tim McGraw. The group headlined many events and clubs and also appeared at venues such as The Indiana State Fair for many years. In 2002, Alan's life took a frightful twist, he was shot at five times at point blank range by a gunman  in Cincinnati, OH. Alan, who was hit once in the side, walked out of the hospital 2 hours later on his own. Later that same week, he was on a plane to the Florida keys, where he made his decision to become a full-time resident. Upon arriving in the Keys, he started to perform music with his biological father, Howard Livingston. Soon, the Mile Marker 24 Band was formed. Although it was fun, Alan decided it was time to move out of the shadow of being a support member, and concentrate on his own music again. The result is Coconut Thunder. The soon to be released CD features Alan's songwriting and singing. The songs are from the heart and it's music hits home. The style ranges from roots country, to rockabilly, to a little tropical sound. The Florida Keys have many fine musicians and many of them are showcased on this album. The sound is refreshing and energetic, and there is no doubt that Alan has come to age as a writer, musician and performer. The upcoming release date will soon be posted as well as the tour schedule for late spring and summer.

Chad Alan is available for solo acoustic dates as well as with his full band, “Coconut Thunder”. Either venue provides a fresh energetic sound.
